Nintendo has gone ahead and posted the second submission for their Short Cuts filmmaker competition. Is it better than the first one? Certainly. Is it of the standard we'd be expecting of a competition pitched at filmmakers? No, not really. It sort of falls in-between, somewhere around the level of an awkward-yet-charming fanboy flick. Still, as it stands, this puppy's in first place.

Oh, the [SPOILER] adultery scene? Equal parts funny and unsettling. I've always felt you need to get any amount of creepy finger-licking just right, and this lingers a little too long. [/END SPOILER] Luke Plunkett
