With the absolute glut of video games sequels showing no sign of ending any time soon, I often think back to games gone by that haven't received the number 2 treatment. Kyle Ackerman over at Games.net has compiled a list he calls "The 49 Best Sequel-Less Games," and there's hardly a game on there that I haven't pined for an update to. Legend of Dragoon. Planescape: Torment. Advent Rising (possibly just me.)

Hit the link and read through his list...or just skim the titles and imagine adding a 2 to the end of any one of those games, enjoying the pleasant little shivers the thoughts bring.
