This one might surprise you, especially if you're American and aren't really into your football/soccer. Konami announced today that their Pro Evo (or Winning Eleven, whichever suits) franchise sold over eight million units during the last financial year.

Because the financial year straddled Pro Evo 5 & 6, the sales are split between the two, but still. That's tons! Especially when you consider that, unlike Madden, Pro Evo has serious sales competition in the form of FIFA.

And hey, if they get around to releasing a proper 360 version this year, they might even sell a few more! Luke Plunkett
