This Day in Gaming, May 27th

1999: It's announced that the Grammys will begin including a "visual media" category to allow video game tracks to compete for the beloved award. I'd give about ten to Bungie for their Halo 3 teaser track. Jesus, I don't even really like Halo and I can't get that song out of my head.

2003: Microsoft releases Brute Force for XBOX in the US. It's one of those titles that has a ton of hype regarding its unique gameplay but pans out to very little that hasn't been seen. Hopefully games like Mass Effect will fulfill that societal squad based shooter craving that was left unfulfilled.
