    Take The Ten-Point Challenge

Review scores are a tricky beast. Do I give this game a seven? What about an eight? If I give it an eight, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? No longer must video game journalists (and armchair pundits) torture themselves needlessly over such concerns, as MTV's Stephen Totilo has come up with a challenge. A ten-point challenge.

Basically, you pick a game or two, and you assign them a score out of ten. Wash, rinse and repeat all the way from 0 to 10 (which makes it an eleven-point plan, really, but that just won't sell). That gives you a handy comparison chart for your upcoming college paper review/nonsensical fanboy rant. And since it's YOUR list, that criteria's your own, so no need to go sticking to any empirical charts or fansite guidelines.

Me? I start with Pirates!, Wind Waker and Advance Wars DS at 10, and work my down until I hit Puyo Pop Fever and Tekken (it's MY LIST) on the ground floor.
