Film scoop site Latino Review has an early look at the movie adaptation of Epic Games' Gears of War, which they say is looking like "one kick ass film." They even use an exclamation point! It's that exciting.

The script, from screenwriter Stuart Beattie, is only a 22-page treatment and early in development, but Gears fans who don't mind spoilers might want to check it out. Beattie's pedigree includes hits like Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and genuinely good films like Michael Mann's Collateral.
