Awfully sneaky of them. The 1.70 firmware upgrade for the PS3 has brought with it an updated backwards-compatability list for anyone with a PAL unit. Sadly most of the borked big-hitters like FFXII and San Andreas are still...borked, but Konami have confirmed that Pro Evo 6 (and earlier versions) are now good to go. Which should tide the after-the-pub gaming set over for a while.

Also fixed was Resident Evil 4, just in case that had been keeping you up at night. Luke Plunkett
