The Zoo Atlanta has started using a computer stuffed into a faux tree to get orangutans to play different computer games in an attempt to learn how the primates think and learn.
In one game a picture of an orangutan appears on the screen embedded in the tree and if the primate touches the photo it disappears and it gets a treat. In another the orangutan has to click a button repeatedly until the researcher's Night Elf Rogue "levels".
Yeah, I'm just kidding about that second one, but seriously, wouldn't you do that if you had an army of long-armed primates and a computer at your command?
