Little late, yes, but it's still an interesting move: publisher Encore is going to be distributing Introversion's Defcon in the US. Like, on a shelf, in a box and everything.

Although it's been available online for a while now, maybe you're afraid of digital distribution. Maybe you're a box lover, and need the feel of the soft, glossy cardboard against your cheek to remind you of your ownership of the game.

Either way, this is a brilliant game. Well worth getting. If you're an American, like the sound of killing billions of people in 15 minutes and have somehow missed this game until now, look into it. Only downside is the price - it's $15 over Steam, but if you want the retail copy, it'll set you back $30. That's quite a mark-up. Luke Plunkett
