Last month, Eidos announced they'd be releasing games over Steam. This month (this week, even), not only do we get Deus Ex (and Deus Ex 2...if you care), we also get Thief: Deadly Shadows.

To celebrate, Steam is running a little sale. You can get your hands on Deus Ex for $8.95 (saving you a buck), while Thief: Deadly Shadows will set you back $17.95 (saving you two (!) bucks). You've probably already played Deus Ex to death by now, but I know a lot of you haven't played Thief: Deadly Shadows. It's $17.95 well-spent.

Smart thinking, Valve. It takes a certain type of game to convince us to part with $10-20 even though we finished it five years ago. These are just those kinds of games. Luke Plunkett
