I spent a couple of quality hours with Super Paper Mario today. It arrived at the house early this afternoon, but I was up to my eyeballs in writing a feature story on the new Harmonix game, Rock Band, and dealing with the daily stuff. I didn't get a chance to get to the game until early this evening. I managed to get through the first chapter before taking a break to go upstairs to write a quick impression item and this note. Two words: Love it.

So I (and a bunch of other writers) had a chance to talk to a bunch of EA, MTV, Harmonix and music label execs about the upcoming game Rock Band. I wrote up a decent feature that manges to both talk about how the game will be a new way for music labels to push music (think MTV for this generation) and answer most of the questions our readers had posted in comments. I'm posting the story tomorrow. Oh, Luke knocked the Hideo interview out of the ballpark, especially since he got him on the record about the whole MGS coming to Xbox 360 issue. WOW.
