Sometimes, when faced with pure obligation, one is known to procrastinate. The "one" in this example will be me, for reference. Whether it's paying bills, booking travel for upcoming events, or engaging in simple grooming, things like Desktop Tower Defense and compulsive Gmail checking often find a way to invade my work time and my obligation time.
So when The Godfather was tossed lovingly upon my front porch by the Man In Brown, I felt that wave of warm apathy overtake me, ensuring that my forced-fun obligation to play (and write about) the PLAYSTATION 3 and Wii ports would be somewhat delayed. What was surprising was that I've actually played the damn thing quite a bit and will continue to play throughout the weekend. A lot. We've already racked up a solid 15 hours worth in my house and the play train isn't stopping any time soon.
So, you know what I'll be doing with my downtime this weekend. What about yourself? Hit the comments and brag about this week's new purchased treasures or retro revisits.
