Somebody flipped the switch a little early, because despite the console not launching until Friday the Australian PS3 Store is up and running. "What's this matter to me?" you say? "I don't even have a PS3 yet!" you say? Shut up. We're talkin availability and pricing for when/if you do get a PS3, so don't get smart.

Currently available are the promised demos for GTHD, Genji, Motorstorm and Ridge Racer 7, along with some downloadable games.Some pricing examples: Tekken 5 is AUD$16.95. Blast Factor is AUD$8.45. Lemmings is $13.37. Very funny, Sony.

Sony has done a good job keeping those prices down, as for reference a game like Super Mario World on the VC costs AUD$12. Not that $4-6 really matters to somebody buying a PS3 at launch, just...thought I'd point that out. Luke Plunkett
