Shouldn't come as a surprise, but Japanese people *heart* the DS. They merely like the PSP. And in today's market, liking is meaningless! Both portables went on sale late 2004 in Japan. The latest sales data?
- The PSP is outsold by the DS three-to-one.
Didn't see that coming, did ya? Nintendo Co., Ltd. shipped 14.4 million DSes in The Land of the Rising Sun by 2006's end — That's compared to the 5 million PSPs shipped. With a population of approximately 120 million people, looks like Nintendo's got a ways to go before every last person living in this country owns a DS. That's what Dragon Quest IX is for, isn't it?
