Eurogamer reports that Valve's upcoming first-person puzzler will clock in at a mere four hours. While I understand that it drives developers nuts to hear the entire worth of their game boiled down to how long it takes to beat, you guys have to understand that it's a question of economics.
If you get four hours of great gameplay for the right price everyone will be happy, but try charging $50 to $60 for it and not so much. (Yes, I realize the game will be bundled.)
I had a chance to play the game during EA's party at GDC. While I noticed some people had motion sickness issues or just brain-twisting issues, I found the game to be pretty easy to get into. Essentially you have to shoot out a set of portals that allows you to get to an exit door. Gravity plays a large part in the game. I love gravity.
