2001: Nintendo releases The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons for Game Boy Color. It's interesting how the two titles were broken up. Ages focused on puzzles while Seasons focused on action. The games can also unlock items in one another through a passcode system or linking...no pun intended. How do you feel about titles splitting in half for full content? Is it innovative software design, or just clever marketing?
2002: Activision releases Star Trek: Bridge Commander for PC in the US. I know a lot of fans play the game...but a real fan would avoid such fads at all costs. Because you know who else likes to do the popular thing? The Borg.
