1986: Nintendo releases The Legend of Zelda for FDS in Japan. It's the most ambitious game made to date, supporting a huge interactive world on top of a story line that would carry on for over 20 years with showing little fatigue—transcending to archetypal status. But maybe even more importantly, Link can officially drink. What is your favorite Zelda moment...preferably from the original version. But we won't deduct points for other answers.
2001: EA releases Clive Barker's Undying for PC in the US. I know...the original Zelda release is a tough act to follow. Especially for Clive Barker. (Please don't have anyone bad kill me in my sleep for that comment...or for saying your made Freddy).
