Shane over at Aeropause wasn't satisfied to leave his suggestions for improvements to the inevitable sequel to Gears of War in the Epic Games forums. He's bringing them out in the open for everyone to see! Shane has listed seven major issues that he would like to see fixed including better weapon balance, connection issues and those annoying ranked match quitters.

I've never in my life seen so many quitters in one place. If people don't like the ranked match they're playing, they'll quit, leaving you and your teammates high and dry. This really rubs me the wrong way, so let's let people join a ranked game in progress like the non-ranked games - please!

There's no doubt that Gears of War has a hell of a lot going for it, but certainly there is plenty of room for improvement, glitches not withstanding.
