And thus were the rumors proven true. First BB over at 1P Start posted a scan of the game from the latest issue of PSM, and now the press release comes as THQ officially announces their gangbangin' GTA homage Saints Row for the PlayStation 3. Sadly there is no release date in the press release, but I feel confident enough to guess it will be sometime before the year 3000.

If ever there was an Xbox 360 from last year that needed a PS3 port, this is that game. Normally I would make some snide comment about Sony's system getting 360 leftovers, but this is pretty good news for PS3 owners...heck, I might even buy it again.
