You can make this. No, really. Thanks to software maker Koei. Yup, the newest DS food game to hit Japan comes courtesy of the company that brought you Dynasty Warriors. Company president Keiko Erikawa hosted a party for DS Oryouri Nabi Marugoto Teikoku Hotel ("Total DS Food Navi Imperial Hotel"). She talked about how influential Japanese food was worldwide and how the DS raked in those sales. Apparently Imperial Hotel chefs supervised in making this game and everything. Koei stressed that it is possible to make delicious dishes (like the ones above) using utensils and ingredients found at home and whatnot. Game drops in Japan this Spring, and I totally might pick it up. Not because it's got serious gourmet shit, but because Koei made it. I mean, how kooky! Brian Ashcraft
