IGN is reporting (by way of Japanese game rag Gamega) that Keiji Inafune, Mega Man creator, has revealed that Capcom is currently working on an unannounced game for the Nintendo Wii. The man responsible for the Onimusha series, Lost Planet and Dead Rising hasn't divulged much more information than that, only that he hopes it will be shown "this year."
Good to know. Let's just pray this isn't some Onimusha title with first-person katana play.
(This may be frustration carried over from Dusty Welch's earlier lack of detail about the future of Guitar Hero, but sometimes I would prefer that spokespeople and developers just keep their mouths shut until they can give us something concrete. End rant.)
What we do know is coming from Capcom for Nintendo's new-gen console are entries in the Resident Evil and Sengoku Basara franchises. Anyone wanna put a dollar on Mega Man Wii? Make your predictions in the comments.
