Halo 3 Sweetens British Crackdown Numbers (A Little)

Seems pre-orders for Crackdown in the UK have increased a little since it was announced people could get in on the Halo 3 beta if they picked up a copy. According to UK retailer GAME, pre-orders are up 25% since Microsoft announced the move.

That's...not as much as I thought it'd be. And I bet not as much as Microsoft were hoping for, either. Perhaps paying full retail price to get access to a beta isn't as popular an idea as MS thought (for those not already planning on getting Crackdown, anyways). I can't imagine why...Luke Plunkett
