We were supposed to be at the Nintendo Gamers' Summit but everything got all screwed up—fortunately, Gamespot is on point, confirming Nintendo's US launch titles for the Nintendo DS. As we reported earlier in the week, Super Mario 64 DS will be a launch titles, as will Spider-Man 2 and about 8-10 other titles. Down the road a number of first-party follow-ups to hit Nintendo franchises will grace the DS (no big surprise there), including WarioWare, Animal Crossing, Advance Wars, and another Mario game (although an original this time).
In related, but probably not quite as relevant news, Nintendo has confirmed that Final Fantasy III will be coming to the Japanese DS—it's the only Final Fantasy title yet to be remade (and it was never released in the US. Our FF3 was their FF6).
