We reported the other day that ambulance-chasers extraordinaire Green Welling had filed a class action lawsuit against Nintendo. Now Nintendo, as empires are wont to do, has struck back.
We believe the lawsuit to be completely without merit. Nintendo has a long tradition of delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service, and we take all reports from our customers seriously.
End of story? No, it just gets better. Green Welling are unimpressed (as it's in their interest to be), and have snapped back, saying, "there is no indication of the effectiveness of [the] new strap" (I'd have thought they'd need to prove the ineffectiveness of it to continue, but I digress). They are also now (no doubt because their initial plan of attack is wafer-thin) examining "property damage reimbursement" for all those busted TV's and coffee tables.
Isn't this fun?
