Mad Catz officially announced today that its Xbox 360 Arcade GameStick will be arriving at retailers nationwide just in time for Christmas. When I first heard about it I was thinking it would be your standard ball on a metal pole joystick, but as you can see it looks like a 360 controller and a 2600 controller had sloppy peripheral sex, resulting in this baby here. A 2960, or would you multiply in this case? 936,000? Either way, I must have it.
The controller comes packed with full Xbox Live versions of Frogger, Timepilot, and Astropop, as well as a free trial membership of Xbox Live Gold. Thanks to MS not letting anyone else do 360 wireless, it's also a Windows compatible USB device. Hooray! Should be available everywhere by December 19th.
