Gaming, much like life, is full of significant moments. Birth, death, marriage, console launches ...there's definitely some highlights in there. These are momentous, but when held against the length of an average person's life, also flirtingly brief.

Thus the rest of gaming, again much like life, is padded with repetition and insignificance, as we stumble from the cradle to the grave/menu screen to trade-in. In celebration of these oft-overlooked occasions, the Something Awful community have gone to town with their favourite "Insignificant Moments" from gaming's history.
