Loyal British reader David picked up a wireless 360 headset the other day, thinking he'd scored and was the first on his block to get one. He took it home, went to plug it in to charge it and...paused. The power plug? Decidedly un-British.
Microsoft had bundled the headset with a European power plug. Britain, as most Brits will tell you, is NOT Europe. It is Britain, and Albion stands alone. As such it has its own power plugs.
Better luck next time, Microsoft. You were so close.
