Washington Wizards' Gilbert Arenas was depressed to discover that neither Sony nor Nintendo thought to gift him with a PS3 or Wii, despite his not asking for either.
"Man, I couldn't get it. I stood outside no hours and got nothing. That's when you sit in your room and try to use your celebrityism. I didn't get nothing. I knew I should have called and said I was D-Wade. 'Um, hello, this is D-Wade - This is LeBron - Can I come over there and get one of them?' Then I would have had one."
Apparently, he sat at home thinking really hard about the two systems but no one gave him one. Newsweek's N'gai Croal points out that the point guard is quite an avid gamer, he even sponsors a Halo team.
Don't feel bad Arenas, not even a potential presidential candidate was able to swing a free PS3. Hey, if you were in Denver I'd let you come play, but I guess I'll just have to settle for Melo.
