Amidst the turmoil surrounding ever fluctuating PS3 launch numbers and the problems already caused by GameStop's shipment shortages, online retialer Amazon.com had opted to simply not offer PlayStation 3 preorders, and will not offer any additional Wii preorders.
We understand your frustration, but we believe it would be extremely irresponsible if we took preorders for product that we may not be able to deliver until 2007.
And so Amazon.com maintains their record of never ever shipping anything late. Phew.
At least the Wii preorders they did take will be shipped as per usual. This is probably the smartest thing a major company has done regarding these systems launches all year.
