We've received several emails in the past hour from peope saying that they've received calls from their local GameStop letting them know that the Wii pre-order will start Friday morning.

I checked with my local GameStop once more and they still deny knowing anything. Good thing that we don't really need to know until like 8 a.m. Friday morning. Brian Crecente
