Bethesda — hot on the heels of the OPM cover story blowing open Oblivion for the PS3 and PSP — have sent everyone their press release, confirming the news.

There's nothing much new here, except confirmation that Oblivion will be a launch title for the PS3. They also clarify the release date for Oblivion PSP: Spring, 2007, in both North America and Europe.

They also include this rather embarrassing OPM quote:

If any game is worth the price of the PS3, Oblivion is it.
