\Sega has officially unveiled details for the sequel to Seaman, the Dreamcast game that had you caring for a half man, half fish pet of the same name.

In Seaman 2 you will be caring for a miniature Neanderthal man, which begs the question, why call it Seaman 2? The premise is that some Russian company produces 3,000 clones of the little sub-men from bones found in Peking, China. Hmm, maybe they should have called this game Peakingman.

Like in the original game you will be caring for you pet with the controller and a microphone, so the PS2 game will ship with a special microphone-embedded controller.

The game hits Japan next year, but no U.S. release date has been set. Thank God they didn't release this for the Wii. Brian Crecente
