Another insider (we've got them coming out the wazoo!) rang the rusty old Kotaku mailbox with info about God of War 2, PS3 online and a PS2 controller. Anyway, here's the smorgasbord of info:

GoW2... Hercules, Ikarus (Already known), Jason and the Argonauts are all confirmed to be in the game. A demo will be given to retailers in December to hype the game for Feb release. Silver colored PS2/controller coming in November for US (Limited run supposedly). There was a few tidbits about the PS3 too, but nothing that wasn't already known. PS3 online service... Playing against others will be free, but they do plan on some subscription plan for downloadable games and other content. Users will be allowed 3 monikers or gamertags per account.

Good to know about GoW 2 however, but I'm still on the fence about Sony's online service. Free for online play, but charging for downloadable content? Hmmm... Brian Ashcraft
