    Chromehounds Microtransactions Suck Out Loud

"Since the weapons don't unbalance the game, I don't mind. Even if they did tip the scales in favor of someone, the game is adapatable enough so that you can come up with a new strategy that works. Virtual Stats are not a substitution for real skill.

I support a free market economy like this. Taxes aside, no one makes you buy anything. If it's overpriced, don't buy it and let economics do the work. If it turns out that it's not overpriced for everyone, then suck it up and either don't buy it because you don't think its personally worth it, or save up for it if you want it bad enough. In either case, it does little good to belittle people who buy it, or those who make it. Just acknowledge it and move on."

Gamer: Guitar Hero Broke My Knee

"Two important facts were left out of this story.
    1. Did he finish?
    2. Did he win? If so by how much?

If he still won on the floor with a shattered knee they should make him president of Red Octane."

Sony Clarifies 2 Million PS3s Statement

"Microsoft's factories in China (of which they had two) were producing up to 120,000 units per week each once they got to full capacity.

Those shops don't start out running at full capacity. Ever.

Still, Sony runs their own fabs, IIRC. I don't know what they have ready. Maybe they have four factories that are going to start out on day one producing 125,000 units each per week, and they can make two million every month. Seems unlikely.

Especially given that you don't typically want to have your factories running at 100% right up to launch then have to cut back production severely when the new year starts and the big selling season goes away. That's not efficient."

Clips: New Metal Gear Solid 4 Trailer

"ALL the trailers for all the MGS games have always being rendered in real time. Every single one of them. Kojima doesn't use FMV in ANY MGS games.

Metal Gear Solid is not your average game. It's much more complex that you think and I'm tired of people bashing it just because they don't understand.

*Long cutscenes: This is not Tetris people! Metal Gear Solid is made to be a more visual experience, and to immerse players into the story... more "movie like" if you want to call it that way. If you don't want to see long cutscenes, then don't play MGS.

*No gameplay video: It's funny how people just orgasmed the hell out of themselves with Halo 3 trailer and didn't say anything about being a no gameplay video. It's normal people; gameplay will be shown when it's ready.

*If you don't want to pay $600 for a PS3, it's your choice. Nobody it's making you buy one by force."
