Although Microsoft's presser was hardly exciting, a number of new peripherals were announced for Windows machines.
• IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0: £34.99 (due October 2006)
• Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows (due December 2006, pricing not yet available)
• Microsoft Habu: £59.99 (available October 2006)
It was also announced that all 360 wireless peripherals (such as the Wireless Racing Wheel and Wireless Headset) would work with PCs come Fall 2007. There may be some semantic shennaiganery going on here, though. The 360 Wireless Controller for Windows appears to be a separate product than the 360 Wireless Controller, which would seem to indicate that the latter won't work on PCs. Or perhaps it's merely a separate SKU for an effectively doppelganger product.
