As we posted earlier, football greats Jerry Rice, Marshall Faulk and Warren Moon showed up in Madden, Mississippi to hand out free 360 consoles and copies of Madden 07 to the town's 74 residents. The Gamerscore Blog has posted a fistful of event pics, including the one above that shows the local football team tossing "Madden NFL 07 on Xbox 360" footballs, caps and t-shirts into the crowd. Good thing they decided against throwing 360 consoles. Hit the jump for more images of the day's festivities.
Eds. Note: Allow me a quick aside. Am I the only one sightly surprised that Marshal Faulk showed up at a Madden event? After he was on the cover back in 2002, he injured his ankle, missing his shot at an eight 1,000 yard season.
