"This isn't the fault of the majority of Sony - entirely the consumer-restricting Media division.
Let me re-state that - there's nothing wrong with:
* The Blu-Ray technology
* Sony Electronics
* The PS3
This is entirely the fault of the Sony Media division insisting Blu-Ray be crippled with HDCP Digital Restrictions Management that the tech frankly doesn't need and the consumer would be better off without."

"WidowQ is my wife, and she may not be learned, or funny, or have legible fucking handwriting, but she loves me, really loves me, despite my debilitating cranial gigantism.
...plus she doesn't mind taking it in the pooper, and that goes a long way."

First Nintendo DS Emulator Running Commercial ROM
"I'm not so sure it really is legal, despite what the emulation community wishes to believe. Even if the loophole does really exist, you are limited to a backup copy that you personally have made. It does not allow for you to go online and download an emulation ROM that someone else has made. Furthermore, you must have purchased the original license for the game you wish to backup, and when you transfer that license (by selling or trading the game) you have given up your right to that backup copy, which means you must get rid of it.
I'm all for emulating games that you can no longer buy from the source, but the moment I can legitimately obtain the game - for instance, with the Wii's Virtual Console, or Xbox Live Arcade. I show my support to the ones who brought me that game to begin with.
I'm a game developer myself, so it hits fairly close to home when I see someone illegally pirating games. I don't want to lose my job because some piddly-ass little angsty teen thinks he's cool for "beating the system" and getting a game for free. Luckily, the game I'm working on now can't be pirated!"

Dead Rising Killing Xbox 360s?
"I briefly freeze when I see zombies. Why should the 360 be any different?"
by Chilly Hollow
"I have this game still, even though I don't know why. I do know why it didn't do well on the Japanese market, though. It's too short. It's too repetitive (this from a guy who like Baito Hell, but at least in that game the individual minigames are different). Once you get 20/20 all muimui and time attacks, the only thing left is to get all the locoeditor parts in order to create really small and rather limited levels you can let your friends play. Once you beat the final level, you'll say "What? That's it?" Then you'll tinker with it for awhile. Then you'll forget about it. What the game is missing are more levels, more unique design (some of the coolest elements in some levels are only used once), a lack of repetiveness, and an actual good level editor. No, I don't want to argue about how the game is unique or not. It's a platformer with 3 instead of 4 buttons, and it's cute. But then so are small remote controlled kittens. Reminds me of Smartball for the SNES. I give it a 7/10, meaning it's not bad, but it's not good either."
