Christ, another one of those "Top X" gaming lists. This time, the Top 100 Games of the 21st Century, published by Next Generation. Gee, Next Generation, why stop at 100? It's a slow news month... couldn't you have just ranked each individual game as it stands throughout the history of time?

What's the criterion here? Actually, more objective than the standard for such a list. Next-Gen.biz ranked every game since January 1st, 2001 based wholly upon unit sales, then analysed via revenuews, review scores and franchise spin-offs.

So who made the top spot? Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which surprises me... I was sure San Andreas must have topped it in sales, but apparently not. Halo 2 came in a close second. Florian Eckhardt
