To celebrate the one year of Namco's popular arcade card game THE IDOLM@STER, a live concert was held with the shockingly clever title "THE IDOLM@STER 1st ANNIVERSARY LIVE." The concert even did a bit of promotion for the upcoming 360 version, with singers bopping along to game clips.
IDOLM@STER for the 360 shows that Xbox Japan isn't thinking outside the box, but around it, under it, above it and between it. This move seems fair better planned than shelling out big money for big developers to slap only their name on a product they had little to do with. This hugely popular game should help shift more otaku over to the console. Next up, housewives and small children.
