In the classic Midway arcade game Burgertime, players raced around a maze, trying to avoid the bad guys and assemble hamburgers. But, who eats hamburgers anymore? I do and so do you, but we also have more developed palates which crave things like dead, raw fish.

Game site Insert Credit unearthed this neat little flash game called Sushi Samurai: "Honour Is Your Appetizer". Yeah, that title almost scared me away as well, but hell, it's on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation kid's page. Totally agree with IC's Brandon Sheffield who points out that the sushi version could totally use Burgertime's core mechanic. In the original, Brandon notes, you could would across a piece of food, causing it to fall and knock off the enemy below. Still, this version occupied a fair bit of my morning. Brian Ashcraft
