Well, this is kind of cute. Campy Hyrule is an online summer camp where gamers can revel in all things Nintendo. Each gamer is assigned to a virtual cabin, which you'll share with other gamers and (we're reading in a bit here) have an actual Nintendo gameplay expert to tell you kids to shut the damn hell up already when you're giggling during lights-out.
Camp Hyrule will have daily activities like live chats, games, art activities and other surprises, courtesy of Nintendo Power Magazines.
If you like to talk about video games, play practical jokes and rub elbows with Nintendo's expert gamers, then get ready to meet new friends at Nintendo's Camp Hyrule 2006 and win prizes like T-shirts & Magazine subscriptions while you're at it. Coming the week of August 14-18, 2006. The rumoured theme this year might be The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass, Nintendo Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy.
Registration will start tomorrow over at CampHyrule.com, if you're so inclined. We doubt you'll be allowed to swim across the lake to play practical jokes on Sony PS3 camp, though.
