At least according to an Amazon Japan poll. Pre-order registration for the 60GB PlayStation 3 edges out Nintendo's Wii in the popularity contest. Interest in the 20GB PS3 is significantly lower. The 60GB PS3 comes with an open price, but rumor has that it will retails for around 70,000 yen (US $600). Unfazed, consumers are registering for the product in droves. This proves one thing: many Japanese folks are made of money.
