The "Great Conquest Collection" is a six-pack of PC games that provide over 70 hours of gaming. With Jesus. The company's website says something harps about providing "wholesome family entertainment" and trying to "distribute games that are an alternative to violent and explicit games." Yet, the site's review section chooses this dozy of quote from Soteria Magazine's Rob Allwright:
These games are the equivalent to violent games such as DOOM III, however these games have been built to encourage the younger Christians with Biblical values in a storyline about spiritual warfare. The gameplay rivals that of any in the secular market and the graphics are good, although without the budget of the more recent titles. With over 1000 verses of scripture quoted in this collection there is a lot of good in these games.
Doom III with Jesus? Funny, I thought he'd be more of a Half-Life 2 kind of guy.
