Reader and crafty dude John sent us these blurry photos. While he may not be handy with a lens, these head-inducing photos show that John is with a pair of pliers and glue. That's actually a NES controller gutted and turned into a holder for three cartridges and one stylus. Step-by-step, here's how:
1. Open up NES controller and take everything out.2. Put all the wire and PCD's ( printed circuit boards) in the bin. Keep Buttons but throw away rubber supporting buttons.
3. With some pliers, take of all the little things sticking out.
4. Super glue buttons to the plastic in correct place ( wait for it to dry )
5. Get some coloured cardboard and cut it out 12x5 cm to fit in controller.
6. Cut out a tiny bit of cardboard for the power cord which is in the way.
7. Glue in cardboard.
8. Bend the edges of the controller abit so when you close it it clicks and won't be loose.
Pretty neat, if you ask us. Anyone with non-blurry photography tips, do send those along.
