The annual Game Critics Awards for the Best of E3 2006 were announced last night, verifying what everyone knew who went to the expo: Nintendo has the best showing. The big N took home five awards for Best of Show, Best Hardware, Best Handheld, Best Sports Game and Best Racing Game.

Spore came in a close second, earning three awards.
