We don't understand Norway's panoply of bork bork phonemes, so we can't confirm this directly, but according to Evil Avatar, Norwegian website IT-Avisen has an interview with Ragnar Tornquist in which he claims that the sequel to Dreamfall (and, by extension, The Longest Journey) is already in the works!

Excellent news, although we personally thought Dreamfall was a tad disappointing. Still, drooling adventure game nerds that we are, any new adventure game that isn't a pixel hunt through the game designer's anal-retentive inanity gets a big thumbs up.
