Yup, it's a remake alright. And a faithful one at that. Here are some screens from the Final Fantasy III DS enhanced version and its NES conception. The original FF3 is only title never to have seen an English language localization, but fans are hopeful the new DS version will get an American/Euro release. That is, it still needs that Japanese release first...
