IGN's resident Nintendo fanboy Matt Cassamina dropped a Power Bomb of an info nugget on his official blog: Metroid Prime 3 will be playable at E3. "Fully" playable, he says. I'm not sure what that "fully" implies, except maybe that the game is so close to being complete that we'll have more than just a demo on hand or maybe just that Samus will be able to shoot stuff and turn into a ball.
Along with Matt's Metroid "bom droppen" comes this bold claim about MP3's quality:
I have full confidence in Retro to make Prime 3 one of, if not the must-have game of E3 2006. This will be the game that shows all other companies how to do first-person gameplay with the Revolution controller.
After skipping MP2 due to a "more of the same" feeling, I've gained a renewed interest in the first person shooting Metroid due to the Rev controller's capabilities. Rest assured I'll be sprinting to the Metroid Prime 3 kiosks, throwing elbows at anyone else who gets in my way during early press hours.
