Valve is about ready to start selling its first offically recognized full third-party mod, and the recipient of this honor isn't technically a game at all. It's Garry's Mod, a tool best described as a massively powerful Half-Life 2 sandbox where you can make all your dreams come true, from posing figures for screenshots to making rebels and Combine fight. Garry's Mod has been free so far, but when it goes official it will cost ten smackers and/or big ones via Steam.
