Got Oblivion? Love being gouged just as much as you like aimlessly wandering around clich and lifeless fantasy worlds? Great news then! We reported yesterday that you now have the option of paying two-dollars and fifty cents for a crappy horse reskin job on XBox Live. But what about PC owners? Are the plumb out of luck, or will they also be privvy to this exciting opportunity to be ripped off?
Well, you're in luck, gentle readers. Bethesda will be releasing their retextured horse on the Oblivion website later today. Not only that, but whilst entire Oblivion mod communities struggle to make more ambitious mods in the hopes of releasing them for free, Bethesda will only charge you $1.99 for the horsie. That's nearly a fifty-one cent savings over the 360 version!
Seriously, Bethesda. If you're going to charge for a mod, give us new character classes or abilities, or an exciting new city, towering in ebon minarets from forgotten sands, or Cthulhu-like underwater sea monsters attacking coastal towns. Something that actually took some professional effort. This is the worst "mod" ever.
